note to self re SG fic
Okay, so reading David Allen's Getting Things Done seems to be a good idea, and it feels really really good when I manage to put another thing down on the projects list (I can actually feel my head clearing when I manage to get enough out of it), but why do you (creative muse part) insist that I should write Mary-Sue self-insertion Stargate fic? Even if McKay is some of my undergraduate classmates squared. And Sheppard is another subset of my undergraduate classmates squared.
GTD babble...
Did you know that there is a customizable electronic GTD wiki? There's also the vanilla brand electronic also.
The 43 Folders main site is pretty awesome too.
Oh, and if like me, you've gotten fed up with systems like FranklinQuest, but you'd prefer paper to electrons, check out the Hipster PDA. You can print out any/all of the organizational pages that you need (GTD is supposed) whenever you want/need them, in whatever format you want (3x5, 4x6, 5x8, 8.5x11, etc.)
:-)

Is it really worth it? I bought it months ago on a whim but with great intentions of reading it before work started. So much for great intentions. Now it's one of those catch-22s: If I take the time to read the organizational book, I will be too far behind to be able to get organized. *sigh* Remind me again why law school seemed like a good idea at the time?
BTW - if I don't get out of patent litigation soon, I am going to go stark raving mad! I'm thinking of begging to be put into the transactional part of the group. Any advice on this?
