note to self re SG fic
Okay, so reading David Allen's Getting Things Done seems to be a good idea, and it feels really really good when I manage to put another thing down on the projects list (I can actually feel my head clearing when I manage to get enough out of it), but why do you (creative muse part) insist that I should write Mary-Sue self-insertion Stargate fic? Even if McKay is some of my undergraduate classmates squared. And Sheppard is another subset of my undergraduate classmates squared.

Why is litigation driving you nuts? In terms of getting put into transactional, I think asking for the work would be fine -- you may want to present it first as "getting more well-rounded" if you think they'd be reluctant to give you the work otherwise....
