job hunt progress no. 4

110 resumes out. 5 rejections received so far. Back on track as far as goal of resumes out/day. Contacted most of my recruiters that I needed to contact. Followed up w/ X/P. Thank you letter to the Organization I interviewed with last week is drafted, signed and ready to be mailed. Also, curses on Bill Gates and the printer manufacturers for not being able to build a software/hardware system that can print out envelopes easily. Our insurance agent may have a lead for me on the job front, so that was a good thing that we went. Must go to knitting cult tomorrow night to see whether that will help (emotionally &/or professionally).

Started cleaning off desk more in preparation for moving the computer around a bit. Found my Career Center binder from law school, as well as the Kim Alayne Walton book. Found materials from the last round of job hunting I did two years back. Cleared off the music keyboard and set up the music (now we need to find the power cord).

Tomorrow:
1) more followup w/ resumes out for ~1 month
2) phone calls back to resume reviewer
3) send out 5 more resumes
4) knitting cult night no. 1
5) office supplies shopping (holder pages for business cards; labels for envelopes)
6) call my brother

Thanks. I have seen the Kovio and they want about 6 years more experience than I have plus a PhD in biochem, but maybe the other ones will work.
