morning report
Sep. 16th, 2003 10:35 amI desperately, desperately need to stretch and go swimming, both of which will loosen up my back. This explains my mood.

I don't think the results are accurate, as I'd say I'm a liberal, but not a far-left one. Although considering my family background and my education, I'm probably doing well to be coming up a conservative, and not a far-right conservative...
To-do list:
1) make to-do list
2) check status of book pull
3) work on clerkship letters
4) study for Patent Bar
5) go swimming so that my back & foot don't bother me
6) go get new high heels with a strap, and see if they are less uncomfortable
7) clean up office a bit when I get home
8) read ADR at some point
On writing:
Still noodling away on Ch. 35 of Vector's Challenge; at least the bus commute is good for something. I realized this morning that I need to put in Cho's thoughts about Draco. I need some more bridging from Monday at lunch to Tuesday off-campus, when Emmy stops by Boots the chemist. I also need another bridging section taking Emmy back onto campus and talking to Father Sorin again. Grrr. The non-linear Muse is indeed a bitch, in the sense that Empress Theodora in Flint's Belisarius series is a bitch...."Isn't she a beauty? And isn't just she the world's meanest bitch? But she's our bitch, boys!"
And now the Muse wants to see Harry/Snape slash, set in Napoleonic Europe, with Snape as a Navy Admiral and Harry as a Captain of Marines. I tried posting this up on FAP, but nobody took this bunny away from me yet. And now I'm wondering if I could change the names, file off serial numbers, etc., and write this as an original work....
And I still want to write a Daniel Leary/Adele Mundy fic. However, the author, David Drake is a lawyer and a Vietnam veteran, and I am not going to mess with Mr. Drake. The Far Side of the Stars will be out next month, and I already have it on reserve at the library. So I'll get my Leary/Mundy fix soon enough, even if he doesn't develop a romance between the two of them.
Ah well. I should go back to reading ADR. For some reason, instead of calling it Alternative Dispute Resolution, I always want to call it Advanced Dispute Resolution.
