Yet more potential projects
So Herrschners sells quilt blocks for embroidery or cross-stitch, and I really like this block: https://www.herrschners.com/herrschners-cobalt-tile-quilt-blocks-stamped-cross-stitch/
However my sewing skills are minimal so I would probably have to contract out the actual steps/process of making the quilt blocks into a finished quilt. There are businesses on Etsy or local to me that would do t-shirt quilts so I think they could probably make the quilt blocks into a finished product. Part of me just wants a comfortable lightweight blanket/quilt for summer.
The next knitting project will either be the MKAL that starts in July (teal and pink in glitz base from the club colors here: https://www.stunningstring.com/product/july-2024-club-selections-members-only-bourbon-street-party-mkal/?attribute_pa_shape=triangle&attribute_mc-base=Glitz&attribute_cc-base=Glitz) or Full Spectrum https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/full-spectrum as I am sick of the teal/grays combo and I want bright colors on my needles.
Knitting is going very slowly this year. Normally I would have about four or five projects finished by now. The new job is less draining in terms of I don’t ever work on weekends anymore, but there’s a lot to learn and a lot going on in the legal profession, so I actually have to pay attention during video classes.
And I am also doing weaving and embroidery so that slows things down.
Embroidery is proceeding; my godson is funny as every time I see him with the project I am making for him, he wants to add in more items. This is what the blue marking pencil that washes out is for. Soon I will run out of space on the fabric so I think I am going to officially finish it up and give it to him.

I'd like to know more about the embroidery.
Embroidery projects so far:
Sunset Bucilla kit 49318E (which I think is going to become Sunset at the Weyr because I found glittering metallic floss from DMC)
Leisure Arts mandala (I need to decide if I should pull out the slightly mismatched blue floss, stitch over it, or leave it)
Bicycle pillowcase set (in progress, maybe I need a better project bag?)
Basically done: Tuscan Sunset with Sunflowers (stitching done, need to iron it and mount it)
