weird dreams; should I stay or should I go?
Have been very, very irritable all week long. Not entirely sure why. Probably a bit too much Housing Bubble Blog (where practically everyone thinks that we are headed for another Great Depression and there is much rejoicing over this. Granted, housing prices need to come down, but if there is another Great Depression, I might very well wind up out of work, and minastir might wind up not getting back into the workforce.)
Weird time-travel dreams: re one Dr. Santucci's timetravel back to 15th C. England. Where she somehow becomes personal physician to Queen Catherine of Aragon and winds up advising her and the Princess Mary about how to get Mary a good husband and the hell out of England. 13 hours I stayed asleep because I wanted to know how it came out. It was like a crossover between Eric Flint's 1632-verse and Lois McMaster Bujold's Chalion-verse....
Not anywhere near ready to be leaving for vacation at the end of the week, but at this point, I just want to get away from the office for a while. Even if I will be putting up with the Annoying Eldest Brother-in-Law for a week (and my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law....this has potential to be seriously unrestful)
Query to the f-list: should I go over to GreatestJournal? Not too happy with the lack of professionalism I have seen from LJ/6A at this point, and not thinking it's going to get any better...
