job hunt progress update no. 6
Good: had another interview today with yet another law firm.
Good Plus One: whilst out of the house, got a call from contract law firm who I'd submitted my resume to last week. They have a month-long gig starting Monday, doing document review. And it pays almost as much as my former job did...(The Old Man's remarks are that when he got out of the military, with 3 years of experience as a JAG lawyer, it still took him 5 months to find work.)
Bad: headache, queasy stomach, upset digestion. Could be heatstroke (running around downtown in black Brooks Bros. suit when it was sunny out could do that) or lack of sleep.
Must now go catsit for a bit and then see if I can find my list of patents I've drafted. Note to self: keep this list on the computer from now on, and update it every time I draft a new application.
