This weekend promises to be busy and fun. Picnicking with the alumni, yarn sale at a store I have not investigated yet, seeing a fun museum exhibit, and birthday money burning a hole in my pocket.

Gacked from neonnurse, the LJ Icons Pairing Meme:

Look at your icon page and list all the characters. Alphabetize them and then pair them up.

Millicent Bulstrode/Lt. Bush
Doctor Who (Doctor #5)/Faramir
Justice/Horatio Hornblower
Little Mermaid/Daniel Leary
Adele Mundy/Harry Potter
Severus Snape

Variant from aerynalexander and wolfcat: Go to your icons page in Livejournal and look at the first two icons (the one on the right and the one on the left). Pair up the characters in the two icons. Go to the next two and do the same until you have a list of ships. Then...well, write 'em.

Not going to write them, but sheerly for the amusement value and cognitive dissonance:

Justice/The Little Mermaid
Snape/Faramir
Hornblower/Snape
Doctor #5/Millicent Bulstrode
Harry (in Ravenclaw)/Snape
Lt. Bush/Hornblower
Doctor #5/Adele Mundy/Daniel Leary
Adele Mundy/Daniel Leary

Akira Kurosawa
Your film will be 52% romantic, 37% comedy, 36% complex plot, and a $ 53 million budget.
This is the guy who made the movie on which George Lucas' Star Wars is based (The Hidden Fortress). Also his movie Seven Samurai inspired the American classic The Magnificient Seven. I think you now have a hint how your bio film is gonna turn out. Rather than hire George Lucas, let's dig up Kurosawa to create the classic spectacle that is your life. A simple drama with light touches of comedy, but a big budget.

Pure Nerd
95 % Nerd, 47% Geek, 43% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!
