I know what you mean about not writing fanfic. I kind of lost most of my muse while my mother was ill, and it just got worse when she died in January. I really wrote almost nothing for close to 2 months after she passed away. I've even shelved the Big Long Honkin' Fanfic I've been working on since November 2004. I just didn't have the mental energy to work on it. I'm hoping I'll get that particular muse back in the next month or two so I can just sit down and write the rest of it.
