morning report
Sep. 22nd, 2003 10:32 amHello to
hedda62 who newly friended me.
Progress report: resume and letter to one of the other professors who's writing a recommendation letter for me. Resume and letter mailed out to my patent professor. I'll email her with the request for recommendation letters when I get the list of judges finally sorted out. I have yet to read ethics, study for patent bar, or go exercise. But I think I deserve a reward for getting the recommendation letter to the prof. and my resume to my patent professor, so maybe I will head to the Milwaukee library and pick up some music to clean the office by. I'm thinking Meat Loaf, Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries, something along those lines. 20 CDs...I get 20 CDs....mmm. No wonder I'm looking at getting a new external hard drive. If Apple charged $0.25/song, I'd probably buy most of the music.
No work on Vector's Challenge so far, as T. was on the bus, so we wound up sitting together and talking. It was a good thing, as otherwise I'd have fallen asleep until I wound up at the far end of the run. I had some coffee, which was probably a mistake as I'm reasonably sure it's cross-contaminated with dairy creamer. But I hate soda pop, and I've seen what it does to teeth...and after reading Fatland this weekend, I don't want to consume high-fructose corn syrup if I can possibly help it. I need to lose at least a stone, if not 25 lbs, so I've set myself on a diet.
And Green Bay lost this weekend as well as ND. Sigh. I need to go to the gym and work out with the punching bag, as then I will get positive catharsis.
