Well, Vector's Challenge is finally moving again, after dealing with the Patent Bar. The bus was crowded this morning, but Brooke and I got some of the intro set last night. I might have Ch. 37 done and posted up to ff.net by Friday.

Running very late this morning, but I did get into class more-or-less on time. I work a whole lot better when I'm just dealing with one or two people, not five at once....

Hello to [livejournal.com profile] tradescant and [livejournal.com profile] vanityfair who newly friended me.

I dropped off the Law School CD 1L into Brooke's mail folder. I must return to Milwaukee Library for some more CDS. Hmm, I should check the university library to see what they have in terms of a CD collection. I know our law school library collects videos relating to law, including popular movies, etc. I should get that list and post it up here...Checked -- they have a Milwaukee Music collection. Subject headings: Rock Music, Vocal Music...hmm. Maybe I will have to pay a visit over to the main university library this week.

And I'd better quit listening to Weird Al and start listening to classical so I can get some work done. Outlines, outlines, and a draft license to write up, and patents to search for for Mr. Rudbek and research to do for licensing and IPLR....

Argh. The bus home was crowded, so not much chance to work, and Mr. Rudbek made roast, which takes forever, so I got my dinner very late. At least we have dinner for most of the rest of the week now.

Some more work done on Vector's Challenge, some work done on the federal courts outline, and four books checked out for the IPLR Comment. Privacy Law, Cases and Materials, Richard C. Turkington and Anita L. Allen (casebook, but I need a place to start); The Law of Defamation and the Internet, Matthew Collins (looks interesting, UK and Australian law, published by Oxford Univ. Press); The Libel Revolution: A New Look at Defamation and Privacy, Michael F. Mayer; Errors, Lies, and Libel, Kane. And two books in at the main university library for the licensing paper, so I will be heading over there tomorrow afternoon.

I am now staring at ADR and realizing that the ADR outline will be quite a pain to put together. The book is in draft form, which means that the internal organization/outline of the book itself is not put together. This is even worse than the Federal Courts professor, who I firmly believe is an adherent of the "Rand McNally School of Bicycle Touring." You have an idea of where you are starting and ending the entire trip, but you don't have as much detail as you feel you need to navigate from A to B on a day-to-day basis. The Civ. Proc. professor, on the other hand, is the avatar of organized. I seriously want to ask him how he does it, or ask him to be a research subject for science so that the rest of us can all benefit...

On a more fun note, gacked from [livejournal.com profile] mollymoon, [livejournal.com profile] synaesthete7, [livejournal.com profile] fharraige, and [livejournal.com profile] thistle_chaser:

Trick or Treat! In the entire neighborhood! I went to every house! )

edited to add -- the total haul is:
pieces candy = 32 + 46 + 10 + 68 + 28 + 11 + 20 + 58 + 57 + 1 = 331
buttons = 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5
dead frogs = 1 + 1 = 2 (saved for Professor Snape, of course)
one pair of old socks (saved for Dobby, of course)
and various miscellaneous other items.

All right, enough silliness. Back to work on the ADR reading and outline...sigh.
