evening report

Hmm. Not very many people bit on my whacked-out fandom ideas from yesterday about which Houses at Hogwarts famous historical figures would have been in, inspired by cognitive dissonance at the thought of Abraham Lincoln as an ambitious Slytherin. Everybody is too busy with the HP BNF deathmatches, I suppose.

Well, five hours of training today for the mediation clinic, a full day (8-5) tomorrow, and Sunday from 8-??. It was good training, and now I'm scared & thinking, "I can't possibly do this. I have no skills whatsoever at the modes of problem-solving that I really need in order to be any good at this." Also went to a party the Law Review was having, got into allergens, and came home with some food and German beer. I am not looking forward to having effectively no weekend this weekend, and having a big assignment for IPLR due on Monday.

To my pleased surprise, I got yet another letter from a headhunting agency today; I think a different one than the other three I've received so far. I submitted some information to one of the headhunting places on-line; I need to update my resume and send in my forms to get registered before the USPTO.

Right. Enough. I should get off the computer now so I get to bed & sleep at a reasonable hour.
