Yeah, I know, I should be asleep so that I can write better patents, or at least marginally more coherent patents. I should count up and see just how many I've written these days -- I've heard it said that you're not any good at writing patents until you've written at least twenty of them. So far I've written two in the last month, plus am working on another one that MUST be filed by Saturday or we lose the priority date on the provisional. (It's not very good right now, but hopefully I can get away from Web research for the litigation/strategy attorneys long enough to rewrite it correctly). And at least two more patents written before that, plus bits and pieces of others, so probably about 5-7 in my year of experience.

Very bad news: minastir stopped by the mall tonight and his bike was stolen! It was locked with a cable lock, it was a road bike & not a mountain, so either a professional thief or a desperate adult.
