Computer woes again...

More problems with stupid Microsoft products. Now it's Excel that keeps on hanging on me so that I can't open it and I can't close it. Grr. I am almost ready to scrub all MS products from this computer, except that I need to be able to email documents out in Word, and I have important spreadsheets in Excel. I have installed NeoOffice but have not played with it sufficiently to decide whether I can make the leap of faith. Ah well, at least minastir is in school so we can get a student discount if I do decide that I need to upgrade. I suppose my other alternative might be to dig out iWork and see what that does -- I got a trial version with GarageBand IIRC.

Random weirdness: I just got a voicemail message on my phone, apparently in Chinese or Japanese (not sure which). No other call recorded, so I'm not sure what happened there...
