back in "Ithaca"

well, it was a long trip, but we made it back, despite Mother Nature's best efforts. the old man has fully reverted to Goldwater Republican and is starting to head into John Birch territory (ergh). Must get a job ASAP so we can move out. Still waiting to hear from interview here. (minastir did not get anything in CA, so at least that is settled.) Must go down tomorrow and re-register for unemployment (having moved states).
