Irritation with clothing manufacturers
May. 16th, 2010 10:02 pmWhen I am dictator of the world:
1) Women's clothing sizes shall be standardized across all manufacturers. Any manufacturers who refuse to standardize shall lose their incorporation status and all rights to any trademarks and/or copyrights they may have. (Hit them in the payroll and treat them like a beast, since they have no souls...)
2) This goes double and triple for underwear and lingerie manufacturers.
3) There shall be national and international coordination on measuring average human dimensions, so that the sizes will actually fit the average person.
4) There shall also be systematic studies done on what shades of what colors flatter human skin, and the results shall be made freely available to all clothing manufacturers and dye-makers. If the clothing manufacturers go ahead and make clothes that will flatter nobody, they can go ahead and eat the costs themselves.
