Knitting ideas for bicycling

A shrug, sweater, or jacket with long sleeves and lace down the length of the arms, so that I could thread LED shoelaces through the lace and then have lighted arms down the length of the arms for turn signals! Possibly with more lace sections on back and front of the torso to thread in more LED shoelaces so that I can be seen in a thunderstorm at midnight by a one-eyed sniper per Lord Mark Vorkosigan... (note that LED turn signal cycling gloves are already a thing, as are LED lighted gloves/thumb and forefinger mounts. Now to hit Ravelry to find a pattern that would work with the LED shoelaces...

Goal accomplished: 10 km of yarn in finished projects this year

10,989 yards of yarn in finished projects for 2020. Equals 10.048 kilometers. So an average of 211 yards of yarn used per week, or 0.192 kilometers, 192 meters per week. Now to see whether I can do this again in 2021.
