Saw the new Doctor Who last night with minastir. Oh yeah, it was well worth coming home early on St. Patrick's Day for. Snark! Wit! Large explosions! Angst in the backstory!

Must now go start catching up on reading the fanfic and finding icons of Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor...

ETA: went over to dwicons & _fantasticicons to snag some more icons. If I didn't credit properly, please let me know and I'll credit.

also, did Eccleston use his own Lancashire accent as the Doctor? Or at least tinge his pronunciation with Lancashire?

now back to laundry, shopping on Sierra Trading Post, (which is where both kirixchi and fearsclave could find interesting stuff to look at) and minastir studying macroeconomics. I want some new office togs, sigh.

Hmm. Quite a nice accent for this ignorant colonial-type to listen to. Maybe next time minastir and I visit England, we should try to get further north...
