Well, I have figured out part of the problem with the "Sunday Mass" scene. The wizards go to a Latin Mass, of course. However, I worked it out that the Mass is the Tridentine Rite (pre-Vatican II) and I am not familiar with that. I have been to Mass in Latin a few times, but never a Tridentine one. So this adds slightly to the complexity. Thank God for the Internet; I can find the Latin/English text with Google. And then I'm thinking that maybe the Vector parents should be at Mass. Or maybe not, if they live in Ireland.

Sleep: managed to get to bed at a reasonable time last night, woke up at 4 am, back to bed 5:30, up again later. And now I'm feeling restless and wanting to give the apartment a good cleaning. And then back to Patent Bar.

I called Brooke last night, and now we have two new chapters of Vector's Challenge up on ff.net today. 16 pages, single-spaced, total between the two chapters.

Need to get back to Patent Bar, and will go riding the tandem tonight. I need to get out of this blasted computer chair for a change.
