morning report & writing

Well, it is a nice sunny day out, so I am going to be on the bike most of the weekend.

Well, we got out a little bit later, but we still had a good ride. About 26 miles and 13 miles/hour.
I thought that because the sun was shining, there would be a lot of people out. It was hot, though, so the roads were deserted. But we still had a good tandem ride. And now we have a new set of tires for the tandem. Tandem bicycles eat parts at a much quicker rate than regular bicycles do, so if we get 2000 miles out of a set of tires, we are doing well. (We're sort of the Neville Longbottom of bicycles; if it can survive us, it can survive anything.)

Still stuck on writing. It is time and past to get a change of pace tonight -- maybe watch the rest of CoS and then tomorrow, begin attacking my desk in earnest.
