rookie bus drivers...

who don't know all the tricks to take to get the riders into downtown on time, and who don't take notice of the road signs saying "x minutes into downtown," where x is almost twice what the off-peak time is, are very irritating. I am going to have to start getting up half an hour earlier, to make sure I get into my 8 a.m. workshop on time. Grrr.

Quite inaccurate, but still an interesting meme.

An interview this week with a Minneapolis law firm...hopefully it will go better than last week's. And I applied for the U.S. Dept. Of Justice Honors Program, so I will see if I get any nibbles at that. It was slightly inconvenient to fill out, but at least it was all on line for procrastinators such as myself. Yes, my immortality plot is still working...Tom Riddle, eat your heart out!

To do today:
1) check status of book pull
2) work on clerkship letters
3) hand in Comment Topic proposals
4) study for Patent Bar
5) go swimming so that my back & foot don't bother me
6) go get new high heels with a strap, and see if they are less uncomfortable
7) go to Milwaukee library to turn in the rest of my CDs
8) clean up office a bit when I get home
9) read ADR at some point

evening report

Trying to clear up hard drive space here -- burning CDs in preparation for taking music off the hard drive....I want an iPod for Christmas. I could probably fill up a 10-GB one very, very quickly.
