mystery partially solved

So I have been getting ants in my bathroom for some time now, just a couple at a time, and then tonight I had a SWARM of the little buggers heading over to the towel hamper. Looked into the towel hamper and noted that I had only the kitchen towels and dishrags in there. Along with a bunch of very happy ants. Who were not very happy after minastir put the kitchen towels etc. in the washer and scrubbed the towel hamper down with Windex. And the rest of the swarm was eliminated by my mopping the floor down with Pinesol. Note to self: move the towel hamper into the other bathroom and see whether the ants move to follow it.

(and here I've been wondering for weeks on end whether I'm diabetic, as ants in the bathroom can be a sign of diabetes...)
