five more alternate Rudbeks
Feb. 6th, 2006 10:52 pmSo I did the professional variation last time, and now I want to run it again for the personal side. Here goes, five variations without getting together with
minastir....
1. She didn't believe him at first when he proposed -- they were both only 16, after all -- so she wound up saying yes. Her parents were not happy.
2. The students still talk of it in hushed whispers to this day, how the two women from the rival schools ganged up on the stupid but cute ROTC lout who had tried to two-time with them -- no, three-time counting the one's roommate. "... according to all the rules of medical science," indeed.
3. There was this fellow major of hers who had been in the seminary for three years. She wrote to him sometimes in the summer, and he wrote back. He did have nice arms...
4. So she didn't have a boyfriend her senior year, and she went out with yet another fellow major to yet another dormitory dance. It worked well for that year, and then they broke up after graduation.
5. After careful consideration, she decided to join the Dominicans. She'd never found anyone who was actually interested in her back, and vice versa...
