Good: will be cat-sitting for the neighbors' cats tomorrow night until Wed. This should do wonders for the blood pressure and stress levels. One of the cats is Madam Precinct Captain, and the other one is a bit more standoffish.
Also Good: v. hard-working legal recruiter called up today, and has my resume now out to tons of places.
Bad: I am getting worried that I am running out of places to submit my resume to, and still no offers. (as in, when the recruiters talk to me and start going through their lists of open positions, I keep on telling them "I already applied to X, Y, Z, etc., and I still haven't heard back.") Maybe I should start looking at bankruptcy law, or the actuary exams, or teaching community college math, chemistry, and physics, or actually go into the lab. (Grad school for the PhD would be an absolute last and final resort).
