Buyer’s remorse and trying to decide what craft project to pick up next

So Mr. Rudbek likes the hook handle cups from the old green Corelle set and he wants to keep them. His rationale is that they are the perfect size for taking daily medication and that they stack neatly. So now I’m going on eBay to find the substitute in the old town blue that’s going to be the closest match to the Portofino pattern, and thinking that I should have bought only one six-setting of the portofino pattern at most, and a six-setting of the Caspian Blue instead as that’s a bit closer to blending in with the discontinued old town blue. And I already washed both sets of the new dishes so I don’t think I can return them.

It has been miserably hot here lately so I have stayed inside and done a lot of knitting. I have a finished shawl and pair of socks today and I’m trying to decide what to pick up next. I unwarped the loom because I was thinking I had done it wrong and I was going to add more yarn anyway. Part of me wants to keep going with the superhero keychain cross stitch, as I have done 2/5 of them (the kit came with five different superheroes, each one has its own hoop. I’m not sure who would be recipients for the three remaining characters). Part of me wants to start a new knitting project although I have a great number already on the needles and hibernating. I just want something easy that I can have in my hands as I watch the Tour de France and doomscroll.
