ride report
Aug. 9th, 2003 06:25 pmRode for 25 miles, averaged 13 miles/hour. It would have been faster if we hadn't had the rear brake dragging throughout most of the uphill parts of the ride...but do I ever love clipless pedals, even if walking around on tile floors with cleats is a rather problematic exercise (I fell down in the supermarket when we stopped to pick up some things for dinner.) My toes do not hurt after riding, in the first time in a very long time. I think I may sell the old-style pedals, or toss them out. I think my husband would veto the destruction of the pedals by burning or jumping up and down on them.

First time I tried it, I put in 24, and it came up Anonymous Flamer...this does not speak much for the accuracy of this one. After four years of living in a single-sex dormitory in college, if I'm going to flame, I'll flame so I can be responded to, dammitall! I had more than enough of being on the other end of the whispers, etc. And why would I bother with being a Watchful Entity, when I have the Patent Bar to study for?
