kaylarudbekGrrrrr!!!! I have the thank-you letters all done. Now I am trying to get stupid MS Word to print out envelopes. It keeps on putting the start of my return address a good two inches over from the left edge of the envelope, and I can't figure out how to fix it. And of course the rest of the address on the envelope is similarly moved over too far.
And I can't hand-write these envelopes because that Is Not Done. GRR. It is also Not Done to drop-kick the computer out the window...I love my computer, I just hate MS Word.

corporatevandal to explain to him how this whole LJ thing works. No entries on his part so far. I wonder if he's just lurking and gathering ideas for newspaper articles...
Edited to add: Finally figured it out. For future reference: go into "Page Setup" under Tools ->Envelopes. Set it up so that it is printing out "normally," as a letter or other document would. Then the margins are just fine. Put the mouth of the envelope toward the bottom of the paper-feeding part of the printer...
Hmm, maybe threatening the program works...
