kaylarudbekIt is very hot here. Apparently, we are back to our regular summer weather, after having lent it to England for a while. I will need to go have cool frozen lemonade and turn on the AC quite soon.
I went to the library again, so that the other people waiting to read the newest Spider Robinson and Steven Brust can have their fair chance at those. Found ten more CDs (the max limit I get on the library card.) Candide, Anything Goes, The Threepenny Opera, and some Copeland and various collections. I found a collection with Die Walkure on it, which was I wanted to get me into the proper office-cleaning mood. I really need to start listening to stuff written in the 1980s and past, but I don't really care for most rap, country music, or a lot of pop. The pop music seems too saccharine, the rap too profane, the country too whiny...and then my husband does not listen to much pop music either...
Put a hold on the DVD of Gormenghast; I found the books used recently, but have not read them yet.
Ahh. Sticky, sticky, sticky humidity. The office for some reason is the hottest room in the apartment. It must be from the computers...
