MPEP status

kaylarudbekFinally ran out of ink, and I am partway through Ch. 2500. I had to go check the USPTO site to make sure that Chapter 2600 does not exist. So now things are quiet, and I get to wait until the rest of the cartridges come in to keep printing out the rest of the MPEP. And I get to start seriously reading now.
Hmm. One of the Walter Mitty fantasies I sometimes entertain is turning Bryan Garner "Mr. Reform-Legal-Writing" loose on the USPTO, whose unofficial motto seems to be "Let the Patentee Overuse the Word 'Said' Until It Rises to the Level of a Shooting Offense." Talk about irresistible force meets immovable object...
