evening report
Aug. 20th, 2003 09:52 pmTrying to figure out what I need to get at the campus bookstores tomorrow. I've been checking to see what books I've already bought. On the antitrust books, I have the 4th edition of the Nutshell, and I needed to get the 5th. And then I have a casebook, sealed, with the right ISBN number according to the professor, but the wrong author according to the professor. But Amazon can't find a title in print with that particular title and author. So I think I have the right casebook. And there is no 5th edition of the Nutshell according to Amazon. So I'm going to keep that as well. And then on the ethics books, I have the sealed supplement with the right title and author, but a different ISBN number than the professor gives. Sigh. Law professors. If I ever act like that, I hereby give permission for somebody to thwap me across the face with a salmon. At least the good news is that I found out that I didn't buy the Remedies books, as I have dropped that class and picked up Federal Courts instead. But then I need to go get the Federal Courts books, and ADR, and at least four to five more notebooks.
And apparently my whole university is infected with the latest virus. I am starting to get emails bounced back to me that I never sent out from my RL email address. I love my Mac. I absolutely love it. I ran Norton AntiVirus, and found 18 infected files...however, I had to run Norton DiskDoctor twice, as I had some badly cross-linked files.
