Got back from the parents' ok. I have many "fun" books now. Also got a haircut, which hopefully will not make me look goofy when I wash it...
I had a few ideas on the car trip back for Vector's Challenge. (1) McGonagall and Flitwick observing Snape and Emmy arguing in the faculty common room. (2) Millie Bulstrode sneaks out robe-shopping in a fit of jealousy after seeing Nymphadora Tonks at Sunday Mass (ancient Catholic tradition that the women dress to compete with other women)...I'll talk to Brooke tomorrow.
I have this nagging fear in the back of my head that my mother is going to be praying against my having a successful semester, due to her jealousy of me. Now I understand how the idea of witchcraft got started...
I now have a great deal of music on my hard drive. I will have to clear some of it off and burn it to disc. Then I will go to the Milwaukee library and get more CDs...they have several Pogues CDs...(happy smile). I wonder how many GB it would take to archive my entire music collection and selections from my parents' collection...and then I might consider starting in on my brother's. And I have to teach the Old Man how to use Toast to convert his LPs, cassettes, etc. to digital...
I really need to go to bed, as I have a workshop at 8 a.m. tomorrow. Yes, eight a.m. on a Monday morning. And then a 4 p.m. class and a 7 p.m. meeting for IPLR. Welcome to third year of law school. I thought it was supposed to be "third year, they bore you to death, and second year, they work you to death..."
