The picnic was successful. I am a very short hitter, and it was a good thing I brought snacks and soda. We did not get busted, and I still have 2/3 a keg left, which I am trying to get rid of. It should be gone by the time classes are over. I am taking the bus home tonight. The Dean and my Civ. Proc. professor were outside at various points, but I didn't dare invite them to partake...
Edited to add: Happy Birthday,
pauraque!!!
And somebody newly friended me, but I am not sure who it is, as the marnanel site is down...but hello to you.
ADR promises to be interesting. Two of my good friends are in there, so we are going to team up all during class. And I may not be very Machivellian (very low MAC score in Ethics yesterday, which means I'm a lousy manipulator, but I'm probably not going to run into too many ethical problems), but I am apparently a good mediator. And I would make a good judge in the European/inquisitorial system...
[I don't have enough money or political power to be an American federal judge, though...and if I did that or became a law professor, the Old Man will start telling people that I play piano in a bordello, as a more respectable profession...]
Antitrust is in a few hours. I'm working on IPLR stuff right now, as preferable to reading antitrust. If I didn't need to understand it for being in the IP field, I'd probably drop it and go sign up for Jurisprudence again...
